Hi everyone! It was great to see you all again. Thanks for making time to meet together. And thanks for the kind words about our weblog. Let's see what we can make of it together.

Over the next few weeks I hope to add features, especially an easy way to display photos. So if you have a bunch of reunion pix you'd like to share with everyone, let me know.

Jim just reminded me. In talking with Ginny last week she asked about the possibility of attending a Blessed Hope Program. Well we have good news Ginny - Blessed Hope will be conducting the 11:00 AM service. Lots of good music and lots of good food afterwards (vegetarian, but I am sure all will have plenty to eat). I need to know how many are planning on dinner so there will be enough food. I have already put the ladies on notice that there will be quite a few more visitors than usual.

I am planning to get a letter out to each family by the first of next week. Right now here are a few details.
Sunday, July 11 is the BIG day. Some are coming in earlier. The park has changed because Jim was too ill and we did not get there early enough to reserve it. We have reserved the pavilion on Lake Nottely. It is large and right on the water with a small beach. And there is a campground within walking distance of the pavilion. Also there's a marina close by where one can rent boats. I will get the information for the campground and marina for you will need reservations for either. That is a busy time of the year. Also I will send info on motels. We thought we would try something different this year and have a planned menu in hopes it will make the meal go a little easier and less for everyone to bring. There is no playground but maybe the beach and lake will make up for it. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again, it has been too long.

I'm really a "baby" when it comes to this.

Ok, thanks Daniel, for getting me one more step into the electonic web stuff!
I am so glad you all can make my third 17th birthday! Ann and I are really looking forward to this. Toby, I was looking at the picture and I think I lost what every one was seeing of me, I didn't mean for you to find it though!

Just a brief note to let everyone now that I made into this site and am looking forward to this year's reunion. I'll be showing up with the same group, which means my oldest will be missing again. Hopefully this will be the last time she misses as she should be graduating next February and can no longer use that as an excuse. You all should be seeing a lot more of me since I have gained a lot of weight after quitting smoking last December. Jery said she is going to try to quit too while we are on this trip, so please excuse her if she seems a bit irritable (:-)! Talk to you all later.

I'm so proud of my wife! She's been meeting her creative and artistic needs by creating puzzles to submit at Griddlers.net. And people like to make her puzzles. She's been getting rave reviews, and some of her puzzles have been lingering on the most popular lists. Look for puzzles by Vics.

Hello Ginny. Welcome aboard!

I've been waiting for the host family (Jim & Joyce) to post specific details, but here's what I've heard so far: The reunion is primarily Sunday, July 11, at the same place as last year. It sounds like there may be some getting together the evening of the 10th.

Fortunately, we're able to edit these posts, so I can correct this when I get more information.

So my understanding is that the reunion will be in a different place, some water front picnic area in Blue Ridge, GA. And it's on Sunday, July 11?
